We are super excited that this year’s big dance number is going to be… ANNIE! After the success of our Addams Family production, which involved children from right across our youth programme, we are repeating this fantastic opportunity at the Northcott Theatre on the 30th October and potentially Exeter Dance Festival during February half term.
As this is a big production number, rehearsals will be happening outside of normal dance class and we are strictly limited on the number of dancers we can take with us. This experience is open to all children in our Youth Programme from the age of 5. There will be a one-day initial workshop on Thursday 28th of July 10 am - 3pm, followed by 6 1 hour Saturday rehearsals starting on the 3rd of September at 4pm (all rehearsals are compulsory – please don’t say yes if you can’t commit as there’s a strict limit on the amount of children we can take!!)
We always have more dancers wanting to take up the opportunity than spaces available, we would take everyone if we could!! Therefore, to make this fair, it will be on a first come first serve basis. The fee to take part is £50, this includes all rehearsals plus the one-day workshop! This fee is payable in 2 instalments; first instalment is due 27th May and final payment is due by the 1st July,
however the theatre requires provisional numbers by the 20th of April.
